Thanks for this post... I lived in Herndon for a few years and I was there when the day labor site opened... I know it has been under hot debate but didn't realize it was so close to shutting down... so sad...

I wish that my neighbors who were fighting so hard against the site could have spent some time there getting to know the men and their stories.... things seem to change so much when you have faces and stories to attach to all the ideas you are debating...

I think I'll swing by the 4 mile site and see what is happening in this area...
